17-muscles of the shoulder?

How well do you know the 17-muscles around the shoulder?

Here's Chris Hitchko from Show Up Fitness breaking down the 17-muscles around the shoulder.

1st- Recognize the bones involved: humerus, clavicle, & scapulae.

2nd- SITS aka Rotator Cuff Muscles: Supraspinatus, Infraspinatus, Teres Minor, & Subscapularis.

3rd- Finish off the Major's & Minors via SITS & Teres Minor: Teres Major, Pectoralis Major & Minor, Rhomboid Major & Minor.

4th- Muscles you can palpate (touch) / Bro Muscles: Deltoid, Bicep Brachii, Triceps Brachii, Latisimuss Dorsi, Trapezius.

5th- The 3 hard ones: Coracobrachialis, Serratus Anterior & Levator Scapulae.

Some people like to add in the Omohyoid muscle, but at Show Up Fitness we don't classify this muscle due to the lack of engagement synergistically during our main movement patterns: Horizontal Push & Pull, Vertical Push & Pull, Squat, Hinge, unilateral, and jump.
