Show Up Fitness is proud to announce our Certified Personal Trainer: SUF – CPT which will get you hired at Equinox, Lifetime, Crunch or help you start your own business (make sure to get your limited liability insurance here!)

DID YOU KNOW 90% OF CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINERS WHO READ A TEXTBOOK QUIT WITHIN 12-MONTHS?

There are currently no national or state licensing requirements for working as a personal trainer like there are for doctors, chiropractors, massage therapists, physical therapists, and athletic trainers. With no licensing requirements, anyone can claim to be a fitness professional and offer personal training services.

The fitness industry is inundated with trainers who get certified by reading a textbook, most fail within 12-months. Did you know that if you go through an internship while getting your CPT, your chances significantly improve of making training into a career? Here are some of the topics that Show Up Fitness CPT's are well educated in & we have LIVE call's weekly on:

  • Exercises science (Kinesiology)

  • Functional Anatomy (17-muscles of the Shoulder & 20-lower body muscles.)

  • Fitness assessments (FMS, Overhead Squat Analysis, Needs Analysis, etc.)

  • How to build successful streams of revenue via the Show Up Fitness 60-30-10 rule.

  • Nutrition 101 with access to Registered Dietitian's every other Thursday.

  • Program design with Equinox instructors every Tuesday to help you program in all kinds of training environments.

  • 8-Core movement patterns with exercise regressions and progressions.

  • Resume & interview preparation to get hired at Equinox, Lifetime Fitness, 24-hour and/or any boutique gym.

  • Nutrition 101 with access to a Registered Dietitian every other Thursday.

As I wrote in my book, How to Become A Successful Personal Trainer, the fitness industry is NOT saturated with QUALIFIED TRAINERS who understand the HUMAN BODY, it's saturated with textbook trainers who understand their body – BIG DIFFERENCE. One can help ANYBODY, while the textbook trainer only understands their own. If you want to become a successful CPT, you need to set yourself apart from the crowd and go through an internship to get your CPT.

Frequently Asked questions (faq)

How much does it cost?

$299 for two months access to the online / live content & to test in front of the panel. Interns who complete the 2-month internship program in Los Angeles & San Diego get 1 attempt for free. Interns part of the ONLINE INTERNSHIP it's only $99. Sign Up Here to become a successful personal trainer with Show Up Fitness.

Why should I become a Show Up Fitness CPT?

90% of textbook trainers (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, ACSM, LEVEL 2-3 in the UK) quit within 12-months (18-months in the UK.) Trainers (CPT's) who go through an internship to get their CPT are significantly better off as they have confidence, knowledge and the guidance to become a successful personal trainer. Additionally, SUF-CPT's have been hired at Equinox, Lifetime Fitness, F45, and Crunch (not to brag about all the successful at home / online trainers who are crushing it with their SUF-CPT.)

where is the best insurance to get after i get my level 1?

K & K insurance has the best and most reasonable personal training insurance.

i already signed up for a cpt (nasm / ace / issa / acsm /nsca) what should i do?

The only reason to get a NASM/ACE/NSCA/ISSA/ACSM CPT is if a gym is specifically asks for one (F45 partnered with ISSA; Lifetime w/ NASM) so then we can help you pass any CPT within 30-days with our study guides. Otherwise, get a refund within 28-days and you will save money. There are no TEXTBOOK CERTIFICATIONS in the fitness industry that set you up for success, they are all standardized tests that do not prepare you to become a trainer. Internships that guide trainers, allow trainers to ask questions, learn how to program and gain supervised experience set CPT's up for success.

WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER MY SUF-CPT?

Start building your business by reaching out and networking with partners in your area. Our level 2 mentorship program is for trainers who have a book of business (at least 1 client) and looking to optimize their 60-30-10 streams of revenue.
