HOW TO BECOME A CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER W/ SHOW UP FITNESS SUF - CPT
BY NOW YOU’VE HEARD THE NEWS, SHOW UP FITNESS CPT HAS PARTNERED WITH LIFE TIME FITNESS (170-GYMS), Equinox (36-gyms), Bay Club (3-gyms, and is recognized nationally and internationally.
Do you want to become a qualified Certified Personal Trainer?
As of 2024, Show Up Fitness CPT has been certifying personal trainers for over two years and certified #133 personal trainers! Why is this important? We can now start the process for accreditation via the NCCA / ICE. The application process can still take over 24-months and will cost us over $20,000+ (which we would have loved to give back to science, but in order to play the game, we need to get the accreditation.)
In 2023, we had 57-trainers get hired at Life Time Fitness, Equinox, Bay Club, Crunch, LA Fitness. The SUF-CPT can get you hired at Equinox and Life Time Fitness, LA Fitness, Crunch and 24-Hour (smaller gyms and group classes like F45 and OTF MAY require a textbook certification like NASM or ACE.)
Cost:
$449 ($200 for access to online material and $249 to sit for the SUF-CPT exam)
If you want to become a SUCCESSFUL personal trainer, start your online training business, own a gym, or train independently, the SUF-CPT is the most reasonable certification (as of *Jan 2024 - to get your limited liability insurance here!)
